Upon opening this diabolical tome, the careful reader will quickly discover that virtue always leads to failure - so sit back and open your mind. This is the most real magic - the application of its principles and instructions will change your reality, but will require a certain endurance.

Over the years of working as an administrator and representative of the Church of Satan, I have had the honor of communicating with hundreds, if not thousands, of Satanists from various walks of life. All of them were inspired by the philosophy of the Satanic Bible and were happy to accept the label given in it as their self-identification. But what was even more surprising for me was that the wisdom of the “Satanic Witch” passed them by. There are men of Satanic persuasion who carefully study this book and then put it in a distant drawer, preferring to wait until they write “The Satanic Sorcerer”, and while they wait, they take ideas for their appearance from heavy metal videos and comics about vampires. Well, well, gentlemen, the parade is passing you by. Nowhere else will you find such a strong concentration of LaVey's personal magical principles; in The Satanic Witch you see the real LaVey - more of his wit, irony, observation and quirks than in any of his other works (the only possible exception might be his music).

Legends tell us that the Satanic Witch of ancient times received her magic from the Dark Man. While all other people, mostly men, slept in blissful innocence, she and her sisters met with Him in secret groves. There He dispensed advice, attracted converts, and revealed knowledge that allowed witches to cast spells and enchantments. Anton LaVey continued this tradition in the early days of the Church of Satan, when he began organizing seminars for witches in his old black Victorian house in San Francisco. The things he taught in those seminars became the basis of The Satanic Witch.
