It is unknown whether heaven exists. It is unknown whether hell exists. Only one thing can be said for sure: after death, a person finds himself in the Interworld, where ashes and dust reign, and every object, thought or feeling from our reality has its own reflection. Mental images crawl here, demons of sudden death hover, many terrible creatures live for which it is impossible to find a name, and evil seeks to take possession of the dead and can easily penetrate the world of the living, responding to the hatred of others. This world exists according to its own laws, and only guides living in both realities can help souls go into another space, ascend in a column of dazzling light. There is a cross here, and on it hangs a crucified monk, pierced by thorns and doomed to eternal torment. The monk learned the secret of reality, and therefore had to die, but managed to leave a will to his friend-guide, who will now have to find out how the Interworld actually works and what is beyond its borders, because the fate of the living and the dead depends on it.
