This book contains evidence of miracles at the Holy Sepulcher in the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Jerusalem. The Holy Sepulcher is the place in the cave where the body of Christ lay after burial. Nowadays it is a cuvuklia, that is, a chapel, inside the Church of the Resurrection. And so, every year on the Saturday before Orthodox Easter, celebrated according to the old style, when the Orthodox high priest serves, the blessed fire descends into the cuvuklia on the tomb of the Lord. This fire from God has miraculous properties: in the first minutes this fire does not burn, does not scorch, then it becomes an ordinary, elemental fire. This miracle has been witnessed in different years, centuries and millennia by Orthodox Christians, non-Orthodox Christians, and even non-believers in Christ. the annual miracle of the descent of fire, on the Holy Sepulcher and in other holy places, and in the edicule, and above it, and inside the Church of the Resurrection, and outside it, and on the domes of other churches, and in other places in Jerusalem, there are manifold miracles of God: the appearance of miraculous lightning from God, extraordinary flashes of light, the appearance of a cloud in cloudless weather, supernatural fog near the edicule , blessed dew, not consisting of water, healing of illnesses by Grace, deep spiritual insights. Everything is possible with God, the Scripture says. And these miracles, constantly performed by God for our salvation, testify to the omnipotence of the Creator and the truth of His Orthodox Church.
