The first part of the book talks about the general aspects of the creation of the world and the features of the creation of man. The relationship between the image and likeness of God in man is analyzed. Various opinions are considered on the issue of interpretation of the words: “And the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2: 7) and a new version of the understanding of these words is proposed. The second part of the book dedicated to original sin. It tells of the sin of Adam and Eve in paradise and its consequences for them and their descendants. About how sin entered the world. Which of the characters is responsible for it and why. What does their moral freedom, temptation by the devil, and spiritual powers: heart, mind and will have to do with the fall of their first parents? The following concepts are considered: “sin” and “evil”; the reason and method of transferring the consequences of original sin to descendants, in general and in the case of artificial generation (artificial insemination and cloning), in particular; the influence of sinful heredity and personal spirituality on a person’s destiny. The book also touches on other topics, including: the role of feelings, mind and will in choosing the moral direction of actions; matrimonial issues; the general mechanism of physical mortality (death of the body). Some issues discussed in the book are debatable. This work is addressed to everyone who is interested in the Christian teaching about man. Source: viewtopic.php?tu003d4255134
