There was a period in our history when there was a military confrontation between two superpowers - the USSR and the USA. A difficult time, characterized by a tense situation, with internal anxieties and, as they say, with gun barrels uncovered. But this fact has kept hotheads from wars and bloody conflicts for more than half a century and ensured peace and tranquility for all of humanity. This time has sunk into oblivion, all that remains is the name invented by the political sages - the Cold War. But that was later, and at its height the narrator and his comrades served the Motherland as best they could and lived as best they could, for they were part of the military system “Navy Fleet (Navy) - Armed Forces of the USSR (USSR Armed Forces).” Unfortunately, there is no longer a Navy, an Armed Forces, or the state they protect. But I swore allegiance to him twice! You can't get this out of your heart. They even abolished the title, the shoulder straps of which I first sewed onto my dress jacket in October 1976. And these memories were written about it, like an episode from a short story, fused into the history of the Motherland. This is a book about events and people that have entered the memory and have not been erased by time. It is dedicated to His Majesty the Navy, known by the author over seven years of service through sight, hearing, smell, nerves, emotions and spiritual experiences.
