This is a two-volume book about his youth - about studying at the Leningrad School of Technicians 506 UKOPP named after. S. M. Kirov (Leningrad), about the difficult service on nuclear submarines of the USSR Navy (Pacific Fleet), presented with a serious approach to real events and characteristics of people involved in the fate of the narrator. He is no stranger to humor. In simple, accessible language, the author conveys naval stories and funny stories from the heyday of the USSR Navy (late 70s - early 80s).
The book is based on diary and business records, as well as previously unpublished naval folklore.
The book is intended for a wide range of readers, including those who served and who are interested in service in the Submarine Fleet, and can be used as a guide for novice submariners, as a reference manual for fleet historians and in general for everyone who studies the Soviet period of our history.
