The beginning of the twentieth century. In Chernigov, young people disappear and their bodies are found drained of blood. From the surgeon Kuroedov, the young doctor Vladimir Shulzhenko learns the ancient legend about the Chernigov ghoul, known as Dunin-Borkovsky.
