The small Irish island lives its own life, and it absolutely does not care that somewhere there is Civilization and Progress is taking place, and a civil war is raging next door. The island has its own joys and problems. But one day two strangers appear on the island: an English artist and a French linguist. Few people are able to endure such a neighborhood without moral losses, and even more so the inhabitants of a small island. Moreover, in the midst of a slow but sure slide towards the denouement, perhaps the only local teenager is involved: in a very slow local life, in record time he will have to go through all those stages of formation, which for some reason took a lot of time for world culture and civilization, many centuries.
