Книга "Колонія" є справжнім шедевром, який занурює читача у світ маленького ірландського острова, де життя йде своїм чередом, незважаючи на глобальні події. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу ізольованості та спокою, контрастуючи її з хаосом зовнішнього світу. Дуже цікаво спостерігати за розвитком персонажів, особливо підлітка, який проходить через усі етапи становлення, стикаючись з новими ідеями та викликами. Взаємодія між місцевими жителями та чужинцями викликає багато емоцій і змушує задуматися про цінність культури та ідентичності. Книга спонукає до роздумів про те, як зовнішні впливи можуть змінити наше сприйняття світу. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує глибокі та змістовні історії!
