The textbook opens a line on general history for high school (basic and advanced levels). Based on modern scientific concepts, it highlights the most important events in the political, economic and spiritual life of society from ancient times to the end of the 19th century. The methodological apparatus of the textbook includes a variety of questions and tasks, illustrations, maps and documentary materials that allow schoolchildren to firmly grasp the basic facts and concepts of the historical course. The textbook complies with the Federal State Educational Standard for Secondary (Complete) General Education, recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and included in Federal list.
