Edward Ibbs, a young lawyer, takes on her case. As Ibbs delve deeper into it, he unwittingly falls into a dark web of conspiracy and murder. Головний герой, молодий адвокат Едвард Іббс, виявляється не лише розумним детективом, але й людиною, яка стикається з власними страхами та сумнівами. Взаємодія між персонажами, їхні емоції та мотивації прописані дуже детально, що робить їх живими та реалістичними. Особливо вразила інтрига, пов'язана з вбивствами на сцені театру та загадковими подіями в гримерці. Ця книга не лише про розгадування злочинів, а й про людські стосунки, довіру та зраду.
