The poet, prose writer, essayist and artist Linor Goralik has a new collection. It includes the cycles of micro-stories “In short” and “Says:”, written in different years and never previously published in full, the stories “Valery” and “Like That”, as well as the play “Witness from Fryazino”. Linor’s texts always balance on the brink of poetry and prose, they contain the poignancy of the moment “now” and its place in the context of world history. The speech, habits and actions of the characters are “evidence” of the savagery and horror of the world surrounding the heroes, but this same world is charming and interesting in its otherness, almost alienity, it is absolutely recognizable - and completely unpredictable.
