Linor Goralik is a poet, prose writer, and researcher of modern culture. This book includes the cycles of short texts “In short:”, “Says:” and “Found life”, written in different years and never previously published in full, each time balancing on the brink of poetry and prose. Goralik’s “micro-stories” (in the American tradition they would be called flash stories, “flash stories”) are based on a heightened and strong experience of the current moment. Individual details of the speech or everyday behavior of Goralik’s characters appear as “evidence”: they indicate how wild and sometimes scary the world surrounding the heroes is, and at the same time how charming and interesting this world is in its “otherness”, in its inconsistency expected and familiar.
