“The Plowman and the Velvet Man” is a story by the talented Russian realist writer Dmitry Vasilyevich Grigorovich (1822 - 1900).*** In this work, the author compares the lives of two people from different social classes. Dmitry Vasilyevich Grigorovich became famous during his lifetime. Being a nobleman himself, he became famous for depicting the life of peasants and simply poor people.
