The poems that make up Igor Klyuev’s book were written over the past five years, but cover a large period of time and topics. From poems written in the wake of childhood memories “June” to poems dedicated to the tragic events of modern Russia “On the death of Alexandrov’s choir”. In addition to topics about modernity, the author often turns to history and literature - “The East”, “Moses”, “Shaherizade”. The style of the poem ranges widely. From the lyrics - "Autumn" to the ironic poem - "The Legend of Troy". In addition, poems alternate with quatrains. This avoids monotony when reading. The author mainly adheres to the academic form of verse with some deviations. Many poems use Pushkin's stanza. The book may be of interest to people with sufficient life experience.
