The main work of Nostradamus is the famous prophetic book of Centuria - “The Prophecies of Master Michel Nostradamus.” This is about a thousand quatrains, combined into chapters (centuries) of 100 quatrains each. Modern scientists believe that in many cases Nostradamus was able to give correct predictions; in his prophecies he predicted the fate of not only European countries, but also the USA, Japan, and Australia. It is believed that in one of the quatrains he wrote, Nostradamus predicted his own death. The cover design uses a fragment of the painting “Magic Scene” by an unknown Italian artist of the 18th century.
