The international community believes that Rozhdestvensky's squadron got stuck in the ice and the mission of the Arctic expedition failed. Nevertheless, the icebreaker Yamal, which arrived at the beginning of the 20th century, safely and confidently took the squadron under escort along the Northern Sea Route. But this does not mean that the route will be easy and the expedition will not face all the difficulties of the ice crossing, difficult northern everyday life and even losses. And the fact that the imperial headquarters in St. Petersburg was able to carry out successful disinformation does not mean that the enemy did not hedge his bets by sending northern latitudes, to the Bering Strait, combat patrol.
