In the tenth volume of the collected works of Vaclav Michalski, the following are published: the Caucasian story “Adam - the First Man,” which the writer dedicated to the memory of his grandfather Adam Sigismundovich Michalski; the first book of stories (1956–1961), published in 1963 by the Dagestan Book Publishing House; individual stories and articles written by the author at different times, which he considered important to bring together in this publication. The volume is provided with notes and an alphabetical index of all the works that make up this collected works.
