The near future. The fall of a meteorite to Earth in the United States in the area of Yellowstone National Park provoked the explosion of an ancient - long-extinct "Supervolcano". As a result of this catastrophe, the effect of “Volcanic Winter” occurred on Earth, except for the absence of radiation, practically no different from “Nuclear Winter”. A small group of people is fighting for survival. In addition to fighting natural disasters, they are forced to enter into a battle for the remaining resources with the emerging “mold” of the human race. Blood, sweat, and tears are the lot of survivors, ordinary, normal people. A place in the Sun can only be given by exhausting work, mutual assistance and indifference to the suffering of the innocent victims of this collapse.

Книга "Епоха виживання" вразила мене своєю глибиною та реалістичністю. Автор майстерно описує страшні наслідки падіння метеорита та вибуху Супервулкану, створюючи атмосферу безнадії та боротьби за виживання. Я відчував себе частиною цієї невеликої групи людей, які намагаються знайти своє місце у світі, що змінився до невпізнаваності. Досить жорстокі, але правдиві сцени боротьби за ресурси та взаємодії між персонажами змушують задуматися про людську природу в екстремальних умовах. Книга не лише про фізичне виживання, а й про моральні вибори, які доводиться робити в умовах катастрофи. Я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить постапокаліптичні сюжети та хоче зануритися у світ, де людяність та співчуття стають ключовими для виживання. Це справжній шедевр, який залишає глибокий слід у душі!
