This book, for the first time in the history of literature, presents in poetic form the events that took place in the first half of the 12th century on the territory of Wendish, Baltic Rus'. Where the great capital cities of the Western Slavs once stood: Tornov, Retra, Volin, Veneta, Dubin and others. The book clearly shows the role of the leader of the Veneti, the prince of the Obodrites - Niklot, his genius as a commander and politician is clearly revealed, the prince’s ability to believe in victory over the forces of darkness even when, it would seem, all hope has dried up. The book very clearly shows the role of the Russian Magi in repelling the forces of the West, who, boldly using their magical power, entered into confrontation with the black magicians - the inspirers of the invasion.
