This textbook is devoted to the philosophy of law. It covers general problems of philosophy of law as a separate independent scientific and educational discipline, as well as the main stages, directions and concepts of the world history of philosophy of law, philosophy of law in Russia, and the development of foreign philosophy of law in the 20th century. Considerable space is devoted to the philosophical and legal analysis of the doctrine and practice of socialism, the current state and prospects for the development of Russian society, law and state. The textbook is written on the basis of lectures given by the author at the Academic Law University at the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
