Norbert Klassen's book is not like the already familiar books about Castaneda and the Toltec Path. It will be of interest both to those who are interested in the practical aspect of Toltec magic, and to those who are more interested in Castaneda’s description of the world and the confirmation of this description in numerous parallels with the ideas of Jung, Husserl and other Western European thinkers. `In this book, I tried to present both directions of my approach to the knowledge of the Toltecs: the path of the mind in the form of comparison with the works of Western European philosophy and the path of the heart, the path of practice in the form of a detailed description of the most important Toltec techniques - how I and my companions mastered them.' Toltec techniques, proposed by Klassen do show a real and compelling opportunity to practice dreaming, stalking, and connecting with intention. The author himself, in a sense, is a follower of don Juan in a direct line of transmission, which he modestly mentions in the middle of the fifth chapter: `...Castaneda's student Richard Jensen, who was my benefactor...`
