Boudicca's revolt breaks out in Roman Britain...

60 AD. e. Britannia. The Roman Empire's grip on the province remains fragile. The tribes, tirelessly resisting Rome, became even more insidious in their attacks on the legions. Even among those who have sworn allegiance, murmurs are growing louder. In distant Rome, Nero remains blind to the brewing danger. While the fighting creates greater chaos in the west of the province, the governor Gaius Suetonius Paulinus gathers all possible additional forces to suppress the resistance under the command of Prefect Cato. The hero of countless battles, Cato, wished that his faithful comrade, centurion Macro, would be next to him. However, the propraetor leaves Macro in the rear in charge of the veteran reserve at Camulodunum.
