The young centurion Cato returns to Rome from Syria with his bride Julia; On the sea voyage he is accompanied by his faithful friend Macron and Julia's father, Senator Sempronius. Вражаюча епопея про помсту та відвагу!
Книга "Гладіатор крові" вражає своєю динамічною сюжетною лінією та глибокими персонажами, які проходять через випробування, що змінюють їхнє життя. Історія молодого центуріона Катона, його нареченої Юлії та їхніх друзів, які опиняються в епіцентрі повстання на Криті, захоплює з перших сторінок. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу Риму та його провінцій, а також емоційний конфлікт між героями та їхнім заклятим ворогом Аяксом. Читач відчуває напругу та драму, коли Катон і Макрон намагаються знайти вихід із ситуації, що загрожує їхньому життю. Однак, незважаючи на захоплюючий сюжет, варто зазначити, що переклад тексту іноді може бути не зовсім коректним, що трохи заважає повному зануренню в історію. Проте, це не зменшує загального враження від книги. Рекомендую всім любителям історичних романів та епічних пригод!
