In the bygone 20th century, the name Makhno was constantly mentioned in encyclopedias and historical works, his image is reflected in poems, novels and films. But most often, Makhno and the movement of the peasant masses associated with him were shown from the negative side, in a mocking, caricatured form. Famous prose writer S.P.
