But getting rid of Anne and the powerful Boleyn clan is not so easy - and in this the king will again be helped by Secretary of State Thomas Cromwell, a virtuoso master of behind-the-scenes intrigue. It would seem that it is well known how this story will end, but Mantel’s novel is more fascinating to read than any detective story...
