Mikhail Weiskopf is a famous Israeli philologist, author of the monographs “Gogol’s Plot” (1993), “At the top of his voice: Mayakovsky’s religion” (1997), “Writer Stalin” (2001). This book by M. Weiskopf collects his works on the history of Russian literature, which cover the period from the 1820s to the mid-20th century. Many of them have become firmly established in Russian scientific use, while others, published in foreign publications, were not known to the general reader until today. Some articles are published for the first time.
