The common thread running through it is the idea that over the past fifty years the West has been steadily losing economic supremacy in the world. The future looks bleak. America, for example, due to erroneous decisions and limited choice of forms of development of capital, labor relations and technology - key components of economic growth and success - has come to the point that economic and geopolitical leadership can irreversibly pass to developing countries and, most likely, to China . The possible future scenarios given by the author are very close to reality.
