I decided to write a book about fantasy. Although fantasy is not particularly friendly with logic. But I still decided to try and describe the world of magic from the point of view of a pragmatist and practitioner. There will be no abstruse thoughts about the structure of magic and the multi-story construction of complex spells. I try to protect my readers from such boring things. Our contemporary finds himself somewhere. A good old fantasy world is raging around him. Dwarves, elves, orcs, trolls. And there are people there too. But our hero was lucky to get into the body of a gnome. This is where he has to survive. For some reason, this race is not held in high esteem by the newcomers. They hit people, elves of different shapes and shades, orcs, vampires and even demons. But the gnomes are unlucky in this regard. Nobody wants to be a dwarf. Authors about getting caught don’t like them. Their gnomes are all drunks, brawlers, misers, and have a very specific appearance of fat and funny dwarfs. What if things aren't like that, what if gnomes are completely different? This is what I was thinking about when I wrote my book. Of course there are pianos there. Otherwise it's not interesting. What is fantasy without pianos in the bushes? But our hero is quite real. At least I tried to make it that way. And when you write reviews, keep in mind that this is just a fantasy. I don’t take this genre very seriously myself. I just decided to experiment. How did I do it? You decide. And I'm very curious about your opinion.
