I, a simple Russian person who has heard and spoken these very colloquial words since childhood, really wanted to refute the statement that “colloquial vocabulary is words with a stylistically reduced, rude and even vulgar connotation.” I wanted to show the beauty of this “uncharacteristic of bookish, exemplary speech” language, its unique literary capabilities, its unique tenderness and preserved pristine purity.
