Small town. Andrey spends his gray days: home - work - home, not even thinking that he might be missing something, having no goals, no desire for life. He meets an aspiring writer - a young girl a little on her own mind, unremarkable and not very sociable. He accidentally pulls her out from under the wheels of a car, then runs into her at a literary club, and then tries to get to know her better over conversations in a cafe. In a week, Andrei experiences such a storm of emotions that he has never experienced in his entire life: he is faced with irritation from himself, the boredom of life and the loneliness that consumes him. Here problems arise at work at a car dealership, a crisis, dissatisfaction with the current apartment with endless renovations in the entrance, quarrels with a colleague and a pestering mother. And he still can’t forget his beautiful ex-girlfriend. And so, in conversations with the writer, he not only discovers an unknown creative world, but also begins to think differently, to see his life differently. He begins to change something.
