The first book of the trilogy. The action of the novel takes place in Alamania, on a continent located on another planet, where the villainous fate threw the main character Max Morozov and his Caucasian shepherd dog named Caesar. Here live warlike gairds, cannibal doirds, wild boirds and their equally bloodthirsty weirds, vengeful peasants and mysterious fishermen, whom everyone is afraid of. And in Alamania there is Earth City, where all earthlings who, like Max and Caesar, find themselves in this world strive. Why does everyone rush there? Because there is no longer a place in Alamania where people can still survive. There are only non-humans all around who don’t treat earthlings very well. But even in Earth City itself, life is completely turbulent. The entire population is divided along national lines and lives like in the Wild West. Thus, Max and Caesar, while still new to Earth City, find themselves caught up in the cycle of events unfolding in this city, meet a wide range of people, both humans and non-humans, and are tested for lice.
