In 1598, a caravan of merchants was robbed in Muscovy. The main loss is a black mirror sent as a gift to Boris Godunov by the English sorcerer John Dee, for the possession of which many were ready to give everything in the world. Clerk Fyodor tried to find an artifact with which one could supposedly speak with angels... And several centuries later, antiquities specialist Kasia had to do the same thing, who was hired by businesswoman Cecilia Cass to search for the missing mirror.
