At one time, when I was still at school, in our class, and not only in ours, a fad spontaneously arose among my peers to keep diaries. Let me make a reservation right away: the majority of those who fell under the influence of this fashion were girls. I never had a chance, for obvious reasons, to read the diary of at least one of my classmates, but it seems that its contents, in addition to some of her own experiences and feelings that the author entrusted to the paper, alternated with poems, mostly about love, written by classics of world poetry and young Soviet poets, with quotes and sayings of great thinkers, with lyrics - novelties of the Soviet stage, with some colorful postcards with which we congratulated each other on all sorts of holidays and flowers depicted with our own hands using colored pencils, distantly reminiscent of violets, lilies of the valley and multi-colored tulips.
