Member of the Writers' Union Yuri KIRILLOV is the author of the poetry collections “Height”, “At the Father’s Frontier”, “Spring Attacks the Posts”, “Youth in Uniforms”, “Declaration of Love”, “Path” and others. Often published in periodicals Poems by Ukrainian, Hungarian, and Mongolian poets translated by Yuri Kirillov are published. His poems are translated into German, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Latvian, Ukrainian. The Secretariat of the Board of the Union of Writers of the USSR awarded Colonel Yuri Kirillov the K. M. Simonov Prize for 1991 for the book of poems and poems “The Path”, recognized as the best on a military-patriotic theme . He became the first army poet to receive this prestigious award.
