The collection includes unique texts by de Saint-Exupéry, accidentally discovered in private collections after the disappearance of the famous writer-pilot and first translated into Russian only in 2009. The short story “Manon, Dancer” is his first completed work, unpublished during his lifetime and was considered lost. “Aviator” is the first publication, a kind of starting point. Together with previously unknown essays, chapters and fragments of novels, accurately reproduced documents and letters (including to the granddaughter of Tsar Alexander II, actress and socialite Nathalie Paley), they represent a living testimony to the life and history of the creation of the immortal works of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry .
