Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) - world famous Swiss psychologist and philosopher, founder of "analytical psychology". This book is Jung's last work, the fruit of reflection on philosophical alchemy and many years of research, the basis of which was his extensive medical practice. The author was able to show that “the world of alchemical symbols does not at all belong to a heap of rubbish left over from the past, but is in a completely real and living relationship with the most recent discoveries in the psychology of the unconscious.” The data presented here, so richly and thoroughly documented, would be more correctly defined as the anatomy of the objective psyche.
