Georgy Dmitrievich Grebenshchikov (1882-1964) is one of the most prominent writers of the Russian diaspora of the 20th century. Dreaming of close interaction between the cultural and economic forces of Siberia and America, G.D. Grebenshchikov spent most of his life working on the book “My Siberia,” which reflected the image of a distant and beautiful Motherland in a unique fusion of poetic words and documentary fact. The writer’s work never saw the light of day in its entirety during the author’s lifetime and is being published for the first time in Russia on the basis of the book’s manuscript, which is stored in the collections of the State Medical Institute. The publication is accompanied by introductory articles, commentary, scientific reference apparatus and photographic illustrations.
