Lydia Alekseeva (1909-1989), cousin of Anna Akhmatova, is one of the largest Russian poets of the Balkans, from 1949 until her death she lived in New York. During her lifetime, she published five thin collections of poetry, and the last one included almost only a selection from the previous ones. After her death, the owner of the apartment where she lived hastily burned her archive, but thanks to many years of searching, about a hundred poems that were not included in the collections, many poetic translations, and stories were discovered, which made it possible to open a new series with Lidia Alekseeva’s book - “The Silver Age” . Chronicles", in other words - "Missing pages of the Silver Age".
