Why do you need S(crum)-Light? To make life easier. S(crum)-Light does not imply a complex (or indeed any) philosophy. S-Light is a set of simple rules, most of which are optional. Any team can take the minimum elements of S-Light (task list, developers and daily) and they will already have S-Light. Then, as constructs, they can add new elements that suit them. They can also regularly conduct simple self-assessments to understand how deeply they have implemented S-Light and what else they can add to try to increase their productivity and improve the quality of development. Or maybe they don’t need it.
