Dorian is a book about moral crime and the price for it, about the relationship between art and reality, art and morality. The classic plot of Oscar Wilde is transferred to modern reality: the artist Hallward creates a magnificent video installation, in the center of which is the young handsome Dorian Gray, and gives it to the hero. Gray goes on an endless spree: he leads the most dissolute and immoral lifestyle imaginable. Decades pass, and the hero remains young and beautiful, but his video double changes day by day, becoming uglier. However, disaster is still inevitable, and retribution is inevitable...

Such an intricate novel could only be written in the footsteps of Oscar Wilde, whose classic hero and plot (of which, however, little remains) is the basis for this books. Here London - all faggot and natural - falls to its knees before the embodiment of pure beauty - modern Dorian.

Drugs, sex, beauty. Beauty, drugs, sex. Sex, drugs, beauty. The amount does not change from changing places. Although it all starts with beauty, it continues with sex and drugs. Someone fourth sneaks up unnoticed and spoils the time-tested cocktail. And in the sediment falls... AIDS. But who will feel a fetid note in the symphony of expensive life intonations? Especially when Dorian himself turns out to be the source of the unpleasant aftertaste. “Dorian is a durian,” one of the book’s main characters puns meaningfully and, as it turns out by the end, its true author. Hints at the delicate content of a fetid overseas berry. With Dorian, everything is exactly the opposite.
