The story is not entirely scientific. You could say it’s an artistic whistling. While the entire civilized world is busy cloning animal organisms to increase food productivity, the population of ordinary animals is disappearing. But according to the theory of one scientist, when consumption becomes the main idea of society and all the achievements of science are directed in this direction, nature will not withstand such accumulation, and the connection with the Cosmos will be forever interrupted. And further, no prospects... But in one city yard, there live ordinary people who, under the guidance of this scientist, grow normal fish in an abandoned pond and return them to reservoirs with clones in order to maintain this connection with the Cosmos. But this courtyard is located in a country where profit and enrichment reign, bureaucracy, police surveillance, where life is not easy for an ordinary person. But they continue to collect these fish.
