The history of the Greek Liberation Revolution of 1821–1829 is interesting from all sides. Both land and sea forces of different countries and peoples took part in it. Greece stood at the crossroads of sea routes, both throughout the Eastern Mediterranean and imports from the seaports of the Russian Empire. I began to talk about the issue from the first expeditions of Catherine II and her favorites, since the following rulers only continued the course proposed by the empress. He also studied the influence of the year without summer 1815, as one of the causes of the revolution. A war virtually without any rules is also interesting, since the Hague Conventions of 1899 are still very far away. Of interest is the very process of self-identification of an entire people, and then their conquest, search for public consent, and then independence. The icing on the cake is the showing of the real, not movie, feat of the 300 Spartans, not just once, but several times during the numerous clashes between the Greeks and the Ottomans.
