Being pregnant and terrified of passing on chorea to her son, she talks about the perception of herself as a mother, rethinks the role of her father in her life and the history of their mutual alienation. Trying to understand what kind of person her father was, Marina touches on the topics of the value of human life in the Soviet Union, the unspokenness of family traumas and shame for her loved ones.
