A kindergartener rides with his mother on the subway, stares at passengers, licks a crust of fresh black bread, and tries to help his grandmother, who is out of breath. A kindergartener watched the film, a 15-year-old captain found out what bad guys slave owners are and was imbued with sympathy for the oppressed blacks, and suddenly he sees a living African in the subway. Of course, we must immediately find out how he escaped from slavery (a real story that happened to me in 1969). An 11-year-old boy is traveling alone on the subway and fantasizing about how he will now accomplish a feat if bad bandits enter the carriage. A 5th grade school student goes on the subway to a children's performance. The stories are taken from my books - Dimka's stories and adventures and Merry adventures of boys.
