In 1987, Nina Sadur’s first book, a collection of plays “Wonderful Woman,” was published, and her fame as a playwright immediately began, which was soon joined by the popularity of a prose writer. Her prose is compared to fragments of a strange mirror, reflecting life not directly, but with transformations, so that in any small story a lot is seen and guessed. This is the prose of borderline states and strange heroines who appear, as it seems at first, from nowhere - either from a dream, or from delirium. In fact, our life itself is, in fact, delusional, and the heroines fight this delirium alone, without the slightest hope of understanding: with the authenticity of feelings, the ability to see “wonderful signs of salvation” even in the most hopeless reality.
