Despite the fact that the name of this man is well known not only in the post-Soviet space, but also far beyond its borders, despite the fact that his songs are known even by those for whom the year 91 is on a par with 1917, the life of Bulat Okudzhava , and we are talking about him, under a bushel of silence. Of course, the episodes, chronology and general outline of events are not a state secret, but the myth created by Bulat Shalvovich himself to this day makes the life of the country’s first bard mysterious and poorly understood. This text is based on a phantasmagoria - an unnamed manuscript found on one of the old writers' dachas in Peredelkino, allegedly owned by Okudzhava. An attempt to tell about the artist using the palette he himself invented seems to be the only possible and most attractive for the modern reader.
