In the third story from the series “Tales of Patik-Empatik,” Patik-Empatik goes on a boat trip, but his raft accidentally lands on a garbage island that formed in the sea back in the days of leeches that reigned on Earth in the distant past. Patik can’t get out of there, but, fortunately, the dolphins come to the rescue, they take him to the shore, and along the way, at Patik’s request, they tell him the story of how the baby leech became addicted to the degrados, what came of it and who and how I saved them.
