The two-volume book “Nadezhda” is a work for family reading; it will be interesting and useful for both children and adults. This book is about the fate of a girl, who, from birth, has had to deal with a large “diversity” of life segments: a village orphanage and a city one, a city family and a rural one. The natural world was closer to her, but she had to live and grow up among people. And she studied him carefully, trying to understand. For her, a foundling, and her friends, this task was not an easy one. But the brave, independent, very sensitive and thoughtful girl did not become embittered. Good people taught her to do any rural work, to value ordinary workers, and to realize what she herself was worth. She began to think about her future early and set serious goals. But above all, this is the story of a defenseless child who did not know the love of his parents.
