The English philosopher John William Dunne went down in the history of philosophy of the 20th century as the creator of a multidimensional model of time. Having analyzed the well-known phenomenon of self-fulfilling (“prophetic”) dreams, Dani came to the conclusion that in fact a person in a dream moves into his future along the fourth space-like time dimension. Subsequently, after conducting experiments over time on himself and on other people, Dunn was convinced that he was right and wrote a book about it, which was an intellectual bestseller in Europe throughout the 1920s. The paradoxical combination of fundamental ideas of psychoanalysis (interpretation of dreams) and theoretical physics (general theory of relativity) - a kind of interdisciplinarism of Dunn's ideas - allowed him to become the founder of temporal philosophy of the 20th century. Dunn is also interesting because all the stories of H.L. are based on his ideas. Borges, who at one time wrote a separate essay about Dunn.
