Jurgis Kunchinas (1947–2002) – poet, prose writer, essayist, translator. He studied German philology at Vilnius University. His books have been translated into German, Swedish, Estonian, Polish, and Latvian. The novel “Mobile Rontgenon Installations” focuses on the best creative traits of Cuncinas: free use of form and compositional discipline, lyricism and psychologism, inventiveness and a certain naivety. The novel, which takes place in 1968, contains many life details and is a biography not only of the author, but of the entire post-war “confused” generation. Translation: Georgy Efremov, Tamara Perunova
